About Me

My Name is Emily Robinson. I am a proud First Nations Aboriginal women from Awabakal, Mithaka, Muruwarri and Kulilli tribes. 

I found my passion for painting and sharing our beautiful culture through art in my graduating year of 2020. Being apart of the oldest living culture I am very privileged to be about to pass on my knowledge and skills to the next generation. 

I am very passionate about sharing my skills and knowledge as times are forever changing. I want the next generation to be immersed and have knowledge of or strong culture. 

Since April 2022 I have been working as a full time business owner of Emily Robinson Art, creating many special commission, conducting cultural workshops and murals and attending many markets to showcase our amazing culture through my artwork. 

In NAIDOC week July 2022 I had the honor of receiving The Artist of the Year award. I still can't express how extremely grateful I am to be recognised my the great community of Toowoomba that I call my home.
